# Install SpringBrand in your Agent

## If your Agent asks for a key

Open [Account Settings → MCP API Keys](https://rapp.springbrand.ai/account-settings?section=mcp-api-keys). Click **View installation key** to copy an existing key, or **Create key** to make one. Keep it private.

## Manual terminal option

If you prefer to run the SpringBrand CLI yourself, replace `{{INSTALL_KEY}}` with your key in this reference command. The command as shown cannot run.

**Reference example · Replace {{INSTALL_KEY}} before running**

npx -y @springbrand/cli@latest connect --all --skip-launch --url https://connector.springbrand.ai/mcp --api-key {{INSTALL_KEY}}
```

`--all` configures supported clients found on this computer. Each client guide gives its one-client command, OAuth path, and Plugin fallback.

## Verify the installation

Check the CLI report for a healthy connection, then restart or reload your Agent if asked. For Plugin installation, use the checks in your client guide.
