Lead Enrichment Tools

Most lead generation tools are really outreach tools with a list feature attached. This one is the opposite: strong on finding and enriching, absent on sending. Here is where each half belongs.

Updated

Lead generation splits into four jobs: finding accounts, enriching the records, reaching out, and tracking what happened. SpringBrand routes Apollo, Google Maps and People Data Labs for the first two, plus search and social sources for brand mention research. It does not send email, score leads, or store contacts, so outreach and tracking stay in the tools that own them.

Build and enrich a target account list

Describe the accounts you want in one sentence: who they sell to, where they operate and what they already use. SpringBrand finds the companies through Apollo, Google Maps and People Data Labs, enriches each record, and adds the public sources behind it, so every row on the list comes with evidence you can check before you export it.

Four jobs that get sold as one product

Lead generation is sold as one product but is really four jobs: describing the account, finding the companies, enriching each record and moving the list to the tool that sends. The steps below walk through them in order and say which ones SpringBrand runs, which ones it hands off, and why the recurring part needs a separate trigger.

  1. 01

Describe the account you want, not the filters

A good prospect definition is a sentence about a business, not a stack of dropdown values. Who they sell to, what they must already have bought, what has to have just changed. Starting from the sentence means the search can reach across several sources at once instead of whatever one database happens to index.

  2. 02

Find the companies with the lead sources

Three routed providers cover this. Apollo is sales intelligence, Google Maps is local business data, People Data Labs is people and company data. All three are third-party services SpringBrand routes to and meters; the coverage and the record quality are theirs, not something invented here.

  3. 03

Enrich each record with evidence, not just fields

Enrichment usually means appending firmographics. The more useful version adds a reason to call: what the company published this quarter, what its customers are complaining about, which claim its competitors are making. Google and Exa cover search, Firecrawl and Apify read the pages, and the seven social sources cover public conversation.

  4. 04

Move the list to whatever owns your outreach

SpringBrand does not send email, score leads, host landing pages or store a contact database. The output is a list and the research behind it, in a shape you can paste or import. Your CRM and your sequencer stay exactly where they are, and this step is a handoff by design.

  5. 05

Put the recurring part in front, because there is no trigger

A weekly refresh of a target list needs something firing on a clock, and there is no cron, webhook or event trigger anywhere in the product. Runs start when a person asks. Keep the schedule in the connector platform you already use and let it call SpringBrand over MCP for the research pass.

The four parts of lead generation, and who does them

A sales engagement platform and SpringBrand split lead generation almost exactly in half. The platform owns sending, scoring, storing contacts and running cadences. SpringBrand owns building the account list, enriching it and finding a reason to reach out. The table shows each part of the job and which side does it today.

What the research and enrichment half covers

The research and enrichment half is where SpringBrand is strongest: three lead sources, seven social sources and two page readers on one connection and one balance. The cards below cover what that gives you, and the two limits worth knowing before you start, which are that nothing is sent and there is no LinkedIn connector.

  • Three lead sources on one connection

Apollo for sales intelligence, Google Maps for local business data, People Data Labs for people and company records. One credential set, one balance, and one question asked across all three instead of three separate subscriptions and three exports to reconcile.

  • Brand mention research in the same run

Reddit, X, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and RedNote are routed as read sources, alongside Google and Exa. Finding who is already talking about a category — or complaining about the incumbent — is the same kind of call as finding the company, so it happens in one pass.

  • Pages read, not just records appended

Firecrawl and Apify are managed extraction services SpringBrand routes to. They read the prospect's own site, so the enrichment can include what the company actually says about itself this month rather than a stale field in a database.

  • Driveable from your own agent

Connect once over MCP and Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or WorkBuddy can call the same lead and research tools. The list gets built in the session where the rest of your work already lives.

  • No sending, no scoring, no contact store

This is the load-bearing limitation. There is no email delivery, no lead scoring, no landing page hosting and no contact database. It is not a marketing automation suite and it does not replace one; deliverability in particular is a specialist product, not a side feature.

  • No LinkedIn connector

Nothing on the published tools page is a LinkedIn integration. Apollo and People Data Labs are people and company data providers, and whether a given record carries a profile link is their coverage question, not a promise made here.

Related pages for prospecting and outreach

A researched list is one artefact in a longer sales motion. These pages cover the rest of it: the AI SDR that wraps list building and drafting into one solution, the social research that surfaces reasons to reach out, the SEO research that shows how a prospect appears in search, and the MCP servers that connect your assistant.

Lead generation automation questions

These are the questions people ask when they compare SpringBrand with a lead generation suite: which enrichment providers it routes, whether it can send the outreach, whether it scores leads, and where the finished list goes. The answers are direct because the boundary is deliberate: research runs here, and sending stays in your tools.

  • Which lead enrichment tools does SpringBrand route to?

Three are listed in the Leads group on the APIs page: Apollo for sales intelligence, Google Maps for local business data, and People Data Labs for people and company data. All three are third-party providers; SpringBrand supplies the credentials, the routing and the metering around them.

  • Can it send the outreach email once the list is built?

No. SpringBrand does not send email, and that is a stated product boundary rather than a gap waiting to be filled. Sending domains, warmup, sequencing and deliverability belong to an email platform. See marketing automation for where that line falls across the wider stack.

  • Does it score or rank the leads for me?

There is no lead scoring feature and no contact record that persists between runs. A run can absolutely explain which accounts look strongest and why, and you can ask for that reasoning in the output — but it is written analysis you read, not a score attached to a stored contact.

  • Can it do LinkedIn profile analysis?

Not through a LinkedIn integration, because there is not one on the published tools page. What exists is Apollo and People Data Labs, which hold people and company records, plus routed search. Treat any profile-level coverage as a property of those providers, and check it rather than assuming it.

  • How do brand mention tools fit into lead generation?

A mention is a timed reason to reach out. The seven routed social sources plus Google and Exa let one run collect who has been discussing a problem you solve, which turns a cold list into a list with an opening line. The reading is automated; deciding who deserves the call is not.

  • Where does the finished list end up?

In the output of the run, for you to move. There is no CRM sync and no contact database here, so the handoff is deliberate. The B2B prospect list template shows the shape most teams ask for before importing it somewhere permanent.

Build the list where the research already lives

Describe the account you want and the reason you would call. Apollo, Google Maps, People Data Labs, search and the social sources answer in one run, on one balance, and the list comes back ready to move into the CRM or sequencer that sends it. The research lives in one place and the outreach stays where it already works.
