SpringBrand CLI Quickstart

Install the SpringBrand plugin in Claude Code CLI or Codex CLI and run SpringBrand tools from your terminal.

SpringBrand runs from the command line through the AI agent CLIs you already use. Install the SpringBrand plugin in Claude Code CLI or Codex CLI, run one sign-in command to link your account, then start a new session and ask for a task. There is no separate SpringBrand binary to install or keep updated.

Install and sign in

Start a Claude Code CLI or Codex CLI session and paste the install prompt, which adds the SpringBrand marketplace and plugin. Then run the sign-in command for your CLI in a normal shell, complete the browser login, and list the MCP servers to confirm that SpringBrand shows up as connected before you start working.

Claude Code CLI: sign in

Verify the plugin is installed

Before running tasks, confirm the CLI sees the plugin. Both CLIs can list installed plugins as JSON, and SpringBrand should appear with its version and an enabled flag set to true. If it is missing or disabled, paste the install prompt again, restart the session, and run the list command a second time.

Claude Code CLI vs Codex CLI setup

Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI install the same SpringBrand plugin but differ in three places: install scope, the sign-in command and how you verify the install. Claude Code CLI installs at user scope with --scope user and signs in with claude mcp login; Codex CLI uses its default plugin scope and signs in with codex mcp login. Both confirm the install with plugin list --json.
