SpringBrandvsWordware

A Wordware alternative.
Describe it once. Let it run.

Wordware's main product is now Sauna, an AI assistant. If you built workflows in Wordware V1, SpringBrand lets you describe each job in plain language, save it as an agent and run it on a schedule.

THE SHORT VERSION

Wordware moved to Sauna.
Your workflows still matter.

Choose Sauna, Wordware's own next step, when you want one personal assistant that learns from your email, documents and messages and works with you through iMessage, Slack or email.

Choose SpringBrand when your Wordware V1 workflows did specific team jobs, such as lead research, feedback reports or morning briefings, and you want each one saved as an agent your team shares, runs on a schedule and reads in Slack.

THE PRACTICAL DIFFERENCES

Your questions, answered side by side.

Wordware V1 turned plain English into workflows, Sauna is a proactive assistant, and SpringBrand turns a described job into a saved agent. Each row is a question Wordware users ask before they move.

01 / BUILD AN AGENT

Describe the job in chat.
Or fill in four parts.

Tell SpringBrand the job in plain language. It proposes the agent's setup — instructions, data sources, connected apps and skills — you confirm, and the same conversation becomes the agent's runner.

Prefer a form? Fill in the same four parts yourself. V1 workflows are already written in plain English, so their instructions move across almost word for word, and the apps they called become connected apps.

  • In chat: describe the job and confirm the proposed setup
  • In a form: instructions, data sources, connected apps, skills
  • Run it once, review the result, then save it as an agent

02 / ALSO FROM YOUR AI CLIENT

Working in Claude Code?
Call SpringBrand from there too.

This is an extra way in, not the main one: SpringBrand's MCP server and plugin let Claude Code, Codex or Cursor call the same APIs and plugins, paid from the same credit balance.

Sauna also connects to custom MCP connectors. If MCP access is what you need, compare both with the clients and tools you use every day.

03 / PROACTIVE AGENTS

It keeps working,
while you do something else.

Hand over a task and it keeps going in the cloud, 24/7, without you watching the page. A run can last up to 15 minutes on Plus, 60 minutes on Pro and 4 hours on Max.

A schedule, a teammate or an @mention in Slack can start an agent, and several can run at once: 2 on Plus, 5 on Pro and 20 on Max.

04 / MARKETPLACE

Agents, Skills and APIs.
One subscription, one bill.

The marketplace has three shelves: ready-made Agents by function, such as Sales, Marketing and HR; Skills that add expertise, such as financial modelling; and APIs for data and tools. Credits work across 10,000+ APIs and plugins.

Ten tool subscriptions and ten bills become one subscription and one bill. Search, social, SEO and sales data are built in with no API keys to manage, including official Ahrefs and Semrush API access.

Wordware V1 listed 2,000+ integrated apps and Sauna lists 3,000+ tools. Compare the specific apps and actions your workflows use, then connect those accounts once in SpringBrand.

05 / COMPANY KNOWLEDGE

Bring your company docs.
It gets better every run.

Upload documents, guidelines and product material to a company knowledge base, so the agent's answers and output follow your company's context.

Agents also improve after every run from the results and the feedback you give them, and remember your team's preferences and output formats.

Sauna is built around personal context: email, documents and messages it learns from. SpringBrand agents use your company docs and data for a specific job. Choose by whose work the agent does.

06 / SCHEDULED AGENTS

By day, by week or at a set time.
Results arrive where you work.

Schedule a task once and the agent runs it on time, every time, even while you are offline. Results and alerts are pushed to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Lark, such as a morning briefing or a weekly feedback report.

Scheduled tasks: 3 daily on Plus, 20 every 15 minutes on Pro, unlimited every 5 minutes on Max. Wordware V1 workflows could also run on a schedule; recreate the timing after one checked run.

Run the new agent beside the V1 workflow for a week and compare the outputs before you switch the V1 schedule off.

What changes the cost of an AI agent?

Work backward from one job: how often it runs, how many steps and apps it uses and who needs the result. That tells you the plan and the credits you need.

01

Run frequency

Count how often each workflow runs. That decides how many scheduled tasks you need and how often they run.

02

Work per run

An agent task uses about 15–40 credits depending on steps, tools and run time; model choice changes the cost too.

03

Who uses it

One person with one assistant and a team sharing agents need different plans. Compare seats and pooled credits as well as list prices.

CHOOSE FOR YOUR TEAM

Which way of working fits you?

Wordware users now have three paths: stay on V1, move to Sauna, or move jobs to another agent builder. Find the description that sounds like you.

Move to SpringBrand if you are…

A sales or ops lead whose V1 workflows researched leads or prepared briefings, and who wants them as saved agents the team can reuse.

  • A product manager who wants a weekly feedback report with evidence, delivered to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Lark.
  • A small team that wants several agents running at once — 2 on Plus, 5 on Pro, 20 on Max — and pooled credits on Team plans.
  • Someone who wants built-in search, SEO and sales data and one bill instead of separate tool subscriptions.
Explore SpringBrand

Choose Wordware or Sauna if you are…

Happy with V1 workflows that still run well, and comfortable staying while Wordware keeps V1 online.

  • Looking for one personal assistant that learns from your email, documents and messages and works through iMessage, WhatsApp or Slack: that is Sauna.
  • Someone who needs fine-grained control over every step of a prompt program, as in V1.
  • Not ready to decide: keep V1 running and test one job in SpringBrand side by side for a week.

SWITCHING FROM WORDWARE V1

Move one workflow.
Keep the instructions.

Wordware V1 workflows are written in plain English, which makes them easy to move: the instructions already describe the job. Copy them out with the inputs, the apps they call and the expected output.

Paste one workflow's instructions into SpringBrand as the task and run both in parallel for a week before you switch the V1 workflow off. When the results match, save it as an agent and recreate the schedule.
